We studied traffic the blog post received from search engines, social media, and other sources. We used tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Social Animal to figure out visitor behavior, intent, and interests.
We created a highly relevant content upgrade lead magnet based on the above research to get traffic to convert.
We created copy, calls to actions, optin forms and placed them strategically throughout the blog post
They helped us convert 8.20% of the traffic into leads. But we knew we could do better, so we created new calls to actions, copy and optin forms, and split tested different versions to increase conversion rate to 9.78%. It helped generate 490 leads in the first month. We continued with more strategic split testing to get it to up to 10.67%.
